Meals on Wheels
Many local seniors are homebound and struggle to obtain healthy meals. When volunteers for Senior Resources of Guilford County come to the door with a hot meal Monday through Friday, the food and visit help these seniors stay healthy and independent longer.
Our Meals on Wheels Ministry provides monthly volunteers on the 2nd Friday of each month to deliver hot meals to homebound people in the community. Volunteers meet at 9:30 am at Senior Resources of Guilford County located at 1401 Benjamin Parkway in Greensboro, and usually complete their routes by 11:30 am. Volunteers go in pairs so this is a great ministry for married couples or two friends. If you don’t have a partner to volunteer with, you will be paired with another volunteer. What a nice way to make new friends!
