Welcome Visitors and Newcomers

We welcome you to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church and hope that you find us to be a welcoming faith community. To become a member of St. Paul the Apostle, please call the parish office at 336-294-4696 or fill out the contact form below.  You may also pick up a registration packet at the Welcome Desk in the Narthex.

Parish registration is important and should be considered for many reasons:

• A sense of belonging and identity in a parish community.
• A commitment to practice your faith.
• Registration enables the parish pastor and staff to get to know you better, to welcome you and to minister to you. This is especially important during a time of crisis so that the pastoral staff can attend to your spiritual needs and the needs of your family.
• Registration helps you stay connected with your parish and helps your parish stay connected to you. Providing your contact information is important so that parishes provide you timely updates via email, direct mail, etc. Also, if you use offertory envelopes or online giving, you will receive a year-end statement of your donations for income tax purposes. Once you are registered, please notify the parish office of any changes in address, email or phone number.
• Registered and active members are eligible for sponsor/godparent validation.
• Registered and active members are eligible for celebrating sacraments such as Baptisms, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and Matrimony.
• Once your children have moved out of your home, it is important for them to register as an adult in our parish or whatever parish they are attending. By setting up their own records and being active in their own parish they can establish their own participation for eligibility for sponsor/godparent validation and marriage in the Catholic Church.
