Give a Little Comfort to Someone in Need

A part of the Yarn Ladies Ministry is to create Prayer Shawls for our parish, to be given to loved ones in the need of prayers during times of illness, recovery and joy.  The ladies pray as they create them, and again once they have finished, for all those that have received the shawls and who will in the future. Many who have received them have commented that it is as if they are "wrapped in prayers".

We have prayer shawls and prayer lap robes available to select for a loved one in the parish office, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 1 pm. You may also call the office at 336-294-4696 to have one left for you at the Welcome Desk.  The shawls and robes are available in many sizes and colors and are free of charge. Donations for supplies are gratefully accepted.
